Our Mission

At Arise Christian Academy, our mission is to nurture the whole child—spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally—through a Christ-centered early education experience. As a ministry of Greenville Pentecostal Church, we are committed to providing a safe, loving, and faith-filled environment where children can grow in both knowledge and godly character.

Who We Are

Arise Christian Academy (ACA) is a K-4 preschool program launching in August 2025. Our program is rooted in biblical values and designed to provide a strong academic foundation for young learners. We believe every child is a unique creation of God, and we are honored to walk alongside families during this important season of growth and discovery.

What We Offer

Faith-Based Learning Environment
ACA integrates prayer, Bible stories, character development, and worship into the daily classroom routine. We teach children to love God, love others, and walk in kindness and truth.
Academic Excellence with Abeka
We use the Abeka Video Program Curriculum, a nationally respected Christian curriculum that offers structured, engaging instruction across all major subjects.
- Students benefit from high-quality, pre-recorded lessons led by experienced Abeka instructors, combined with interactive in-class activities facilitated by our teachers.
- Subjects include phonics, numbers, writing, language development, Bible, music, and more—building a solid foundation for kindergarten and beyond.
- The curriculum encourages early literacy, critical thinking, and spiritual formation in a way that’s both age-appropriate and impactful.
Half-Day Program (8:30 AM – 12:00 PM)
ACA operates on a half-day schedule, ideal for young learners and families seeking a structured yet balanced routine. Healthy snacks are provided daily.

Who Can Attend?

Enrollment is open to all families who value a Christian learning environment. While we are a ministry of Greenville Pentecostal Church, families do not need to be members of the church to enroll. Our doors are open to the broader community, and we welcome students from diverse backgrounds who support our mission.

Meet The Teacher

Mrs Chingwena

Mrs. Chingwena is the founder and lead teacher of Arise Christian Academy, a preschool ministry established through the vision and support of Greenville Pentecostal Church. With a heart for young children and a deep commitment to Christian education, Mrs. Chingwena brings both spiritual guidance and academic excellence into the classroom.

She has extensive experience working with children in church ministries and educational settings, and she firmly believes that early childhood is the most important season to plant the seeds of faith, character, and learning. Her approach combines structure, love, and biblical truth, creating an environment where children are encouraged to grow confidently and joyfully.

At Arise Christian Academy, Mrs. Chingwena leads students through the Abeka Video Program Curriculum, a respected Christian curriculum that provides engaging instruction in phonics, numbers, writing, Bible stories, and music. She supplements these lessons with hands-on activities, spiritual guidance, and personalized care, ensuring that each child receives the attention and support they need.

Driven by her calling to serve both God and families, Mrs. Chingwena is dedicated to making ACA a place where children not only prepare academically for kindergarten, but also begin to develop a lasting relationship with Jesus Christ.
